On 15 September 2023, KRI and the Ministry of Finance (MOF) jointly organised a focus group discussion addressing the topic of food security in Malaysia.

This session was well attended by 23 stakeholder organisations; representing government bodies, regulatory authorities, think tanks, private enterprises, educational institutions, and farmers' associations.​
